On
October 13th 2001 at 2:30 pm, Bob Childs and
Petra Schroller celebrated the affirmation of
their love at the Elisabethen
Church of Basel, Switzerland. This ancient
gothic church in the center of old town Basel
was the setting for the ceremony and apero.
Entertainment was provided by Christer of Norway
who performed a selection of Organ Trios by
Bach.
After
a photo session by the Tingueli
Fountain, the wedding party and guests boarded
an antique
trolley for a one hour rail tour of Basel.
The
reception followed at Zunftsaal,
a 16th century Blacksmith Guilder's meeting
room close to the city market place. After a
buffet dinner and cake, the party continued
until 4am with special presentations, games
and dancing.
